Adding video to your Marker
This section covers how to add (local) videos to your Markers in WP Go Maps. This section covers adding local videos only (videos that can be uploaded to your Media library). For guidance on adding video from video sharing platforms such as YouTube, please refer to the Embedding iframes in your markers section
The Following Plugin/s need to be installed and active
- WP Go Maps
- WP Go Maps Pro Add-on
To add a video to you marker, please navigate to
WP Go Maps -> Maps (edit your chosen map) -> Markers
and select the "edit" option under the action menu for the marker you would like to include video. This will open the Marker editor, scroll to the description section on the editor and select the "upload media" button, highlighted below
The "upload media" button will open the Media library, here you can either select an existing video from your media library or upload a new video from a local source.
Once you have selected your desired video, press the Add media button to insert the video into the description field of your marker
Once the video has successfully been added to the description, please remember to save marker.
This video can now be played from the marker Infowindow on your map
