Using WP Go Maps with Elementor
This article covers how to insert your WP Go Maps map onto a page built using the Elementor page editor
The Following Plugins need to be installed and active
- WP Go Maps
- Elementor
To insert your map into the Elementor page editor, you will need to copy the shortcode of your map. The Map Shortcode can be found on the Maps page or under the General Settings of the map (WP Go Maps -> Maps (edit your chosen map) -> Settings -> General). Click on the shortcode to automatically copy it to your clipboard


Navigate to the Wordpress Pages screen to locate the page you'd like you add your map to. Select the "Edit with Elementor" option on the desired page

Type Shortcode into the Elementor Widgets search bar

Drag the shortcode widget onto the page
Paste the shortcode into the shortcode box in the widget configuration area

Update the page and exit to the WordPress dashboard
The page can now be previewed from the WordPress pages area or via the regular WordPress page editor
