Adding a Circle
This section covers how to add a Circle to your map
The Following Plugin/s need to be installed and active
- WP Go Maps
- WP Go Maps Pro Add-on (optional, but required to edit Description, link, hover and layer settings)
On the Map editor of the of your selected map, you are able to navigate to the Circles page to view, add or edit existing Circles:
WP Go MAPS -> Maps (edit your chosen map) -> Circles
To Add a new Circle select the "Add Circle" text near the top of the page or select the + icon and then the Circle icon that appears on the map preview
- ClickΒ on the map to set your circles center.
- MoveΒ the mouse to adjust your circles radius.
- ClickΒ a second time to finish drawing your circle.
Edit the following options as required
Name: Name your Circle , this identifies it on the Circles page where all existing Circles are listed
Description: Use this to describe your circle in more detail. You can inclided media in the description
Radius: Increase or decrease the circle radius by adjusting this figure
Link: If you would like a link in the Circles InfoWindow, insert the full URL here (includingΒ https://). This URL will allow visitors to open a web page from the circle InfoWindow.
To Open link in a new tab. Please update the appropriate option in the Global InfoWindow Settings:
WP Go MAPS -> Settings -> Info Windows
Line and Fill Colour of the Circle
Line and Fill Colour of the Circle when hovering over it
Layer: Entering a value into this textbox will influence how close to the top the Drawing object is displayed in relation to other objects, the greater the number, the closer to the top it is displayed

Select Add Circle at the bottom right of the page, to save your new circle
